Museum on the site of former slate quarries, with underground galleries to visit. The birthday combines a workshop where each child cuts (and, for ages 11-14, engraves) their own slate plate, a cake break in an old wooden pavilion and an investigation or treasure hunt in the galleries, for ages 6 to 14.
